Creative advertising that makes you look twice

Advertisements usually have a negative connotation associated with them and because of this most people don’t like taking the time look at and even read advertisements. The good news is, not all advertisements are bad and some companies have taken the time to design some very clever advertising campaigns.

  1. When advertising is at its’ best – as it is in these examples – it is just as much art as anything else. Perhaps indeed the best art, with the message cleverly inside the image.

  2. Neil, that was metacommunication. The ads are compelling, but so is the way you presented them. That was cool in its own right. And you made me look twice!

  3. Those were great, except the tampax one with the sharks is probably the most offensive thing I have ever seen. Message? Women are dirty and unclean. Menstruation is dirty and unclean. As a woman, you should be afraid. You are in danger simply because you are a woman. Disgusting.

    I think the message is that Tampax absorbs so well that even sharks won’t smell the blood in water. Get it? It isn’t all that deep.
