I’m pleased to announce that Murray Newlands is joining Search Engine Journal as our Deputy Editor.

I loved his SES San Francisco coverage for SEJ. We are planning more event coverage and appearances, so be on the lookout for us (hi Pubcon!).

Please get in touch with Murray if:

  • You are planning an internet marketing event or meetup and would like Search Engine Journal to cover it
  • You have a great news tip or article idea
  • You’d like to be interviewed at our next event

About Murray

Earlier this year Murray started his own online publication ”The Mail” where he covers the world of performance marketing, including email marketing, lead generation, mobile marketing and  content marketing.

When he’s not publishing, he is managing marketing, PR, and reputation management campaigns at the Content Marketing Consultancy.

Murray is also co-authoring a book about content marketing with Internet marketing optimization authority Bruce Clay. Bruce says:

“Murray is a natural-born marketer and in the many years I’ve known him I’ve always been impressed by his endless energy and passion for the marketing community. In our upcoming book, my technical SEO perspective is complemented by his creative approach to networking, branding and visibility.

  2. Congratulations Murray and welcome to SEJ!

We have your book “Online Marketing: A User’s Manual” in my office library and refer to it often- that’s how useful your writing is!

As regular SEJ reader, I’m thrilled that you have joined the team.

Wish you all the very best indeed.
