This year’s Best Search Blogger is now a three time recipient of a Search Engine Journal Search Blog Award as his blog won Best SEO Blog of 2005 and Blogger Most Likely to Flame You for Spamming last year.
Matt Cutts is more or less the voice of Google in the webmaster, SEO, and publishing community and although Vanessa Fox and Adam Lasnik have taken on some of the webmaster relations load, Matt is working harder than ever (and you can call it Mac’n) and the SEJ reader voting proves it.
Matt’s closest competition was Danny Sullivan, who also moves mountains in the world of search, in 2006 Danny blogged mostly at Search Engine Watch, but left to start his own new blog, Search Engine Land in December.
Barry Schwartz (Search Engine Roundtable, Cartoon Barry, and Search Engine Land), Rand Fishkin (who’s SEOmoz Blog won Best SEO Blog of 2006) and Aaron Wall (SEObook and Threadwatch) also rounded out the Top 5.

Yes, congrats Matt. Your posts are incredibly valuable. What are we going to do when you leave Google?

Great job Matt! Congrats!

I can’t believe 9 people actually voted for me. I would have called shenanigans if I won, because I’m clearly not one of the big dogs of search. I wish I knew as much as the top five do…

Congrats to everybody.
What would be a blogger all alone just by himself without other bloggers to interact with, right?!
Good job Matt and thanks for keeping the discussions “cooking” and “hot”.
And congrats to your 9 votes Rebecca ;).

It is good to see Woman represented,
