What’s Next In Search – 2013

Over the past month I’ve been wondering what’s going to happen in the search world.  I stumbled across this video and thought  Marcus Tandler talks about content marketing and smart link building.  He breaks down long term vs long term results and SEO.

Key takeaway – It’s not about getting there first, it’s about getting to first and staying there!

Enjoy, let me know your thoughts!

  1. Hello John! Does Bounce Rate affects SEO ? Google stress more on quality content. If any blog has high bounce rate then does it means blog is not offering any quality content? Because i think if there is quality content, user will take interest and stay on blog more than 30 seconds which reduces the bounce rate. What do you think?

  2. It’s true in SEO its a constant battle to stay on top! There are a lot of shifts in new SEO tactics. Search Engine Optimizers now need to pay more attention to the :
    The Website’s Speed/Usability
    Consistently Having GREAT Relevant Content
    Creating Linkable Assets/Link Earning
    Continuing Online Branding
    Establishing Online PR
    Harnessing Social Signals
    Sustaining Credibility Signals
    Establishing Authorship
    Converting to Mobile
    Completely Avoiding Negative SEO
