“GOOGLE is planning a new Âversion of its search engine â€“ designed for TV screens â€“ that the companyâ€™s co-founder and its chief executive believe will rival traditional broadcasting.
Chief executive Eric Schmidt told The Business: â€œAt the most people currently have access to only around 500 television channels,â€ said Schmidt. â€œThey should have access to everything â€“ that is where we are heading.â€
And a search of Google Jobs seems to support this; I found three television-related jobs fairly quickly.
