I am VERY sick of my Yahoo store! I don't know how they justify charging transaction fees when there are so many other carts out there. I am switching in January.

The problem is they use the same checkout URL for EVERY STORE. That's like having one checkout lane for an entire shopping mall. My store was down for 11 hours on Monday. That's inexcusable.

As a new Yahoo merchant and online store, I spent a majority of my advertising and marketing dollars to capture new customers and sales for Cyber Monday.

I found out through a phone call from a customer that they could not finish their transaction through the site and elected to place a phone order.

What a disappointment! Only 25% of customers who tried to place an order actually completed their transaction. And Yahoo has done very little to comment to their merchants directly about the issue.

Our company opted to not use Yahoo checkout, simply because we have notice the entire Yahoo site down 3 or 4 times this year. Each outage was short lived, but if you can’t keep your billion dollar search engine running, how can I expect you to keep a business running.

I do have a friend who operates using Yahoo Merchants, and he lost not only cyber Monday, but his busiest sales day.

What's the first thing that goes through my mind on this one?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA

I couldn't stop laughing after that one. Yahoo! cracks me up, without fail.
