Today during the Universal & Blended Search session at SES San Jose, Tim Mayer of Yahoo discussed how they are blending video & multimedia into the Yahoo Search experience and used a search for Wilco (an American experimental folk rock band) as an example.
Even though they have been out for a while, I had not had much of a chance to check out the Yahoo Search Music Shortcuts and found this to follow the network’s focus on entertainment & information, as Yahoo uses its Video, Music, Lyrics, and Image properties to pull together this shortcut with video preview capabilities.
