Yesterday I wrote a bit about the Yahoo Directory Blog, The Spark, and today Fleishman Hillard / Yahoo reminded me that they have recently launched two new blogs for their Yahoo Shopping and Yahoo Local offerings (and let’s not forget the YSearchBlog and the YPNBlog).

From Yahoo :

The Yahoo! Local blog will help us stay in touch with users, merchants, publishers and developers. Our mission for this blog is to:

* Create a dialog with Local influencers, enthusiasts and advocates
* Develop a forum to point out new features in our product and APIs
* Showcase developers using Y! Local and Maps APIs
* Highlight activities and gather input from some of our favorite contributors, merchants and developers.

The Yahoo! Shopping blog will help us promote interesting products, great deals, new site features, and user generated content. Our mission for this blog is to:

* Bring a human voice to Yahoo! Shopping
* Bring more social commerce features to online shoppers
* Feature products and merchants based on editorial selection, content will not influenced by partnerships or advertisers
