Yahoo Answers Gets a Search Result Makeover
Yahoo’s Social Media flagship, Yahoo Answers, is now being served to Yahoo Search users in the Yahoo search results via a new, spruced up vertical result box which breathes more life and definition into the product, just as Windows Live QnA goes live over at Microsoft.
Threadwatch provides a screenshot of the new format, which expresses the power of the Yahoo Answers community by serving avatars, answer excerpts and Yahoo Member identities in the search results teaser.
Yahoo’s new vibrant integration of Yahoo Answers into the results should attract users to the fun and informative service who may have breezed over the results in the past. Barry & Threadwatch use the search term ‘beer’ as an example to show these new results:
