World Cup Scores on Google Desktop

World Cup Scores on Google Desktop

Now that the World Cup action is totally heating up and teams are qualifying for the new round, I’m making an effort to stay more on top of the scores and happenings. It has been a crazy week so far, but I do admit, I missed the two Brazil games, the Australia : Japan showdown, and Germany : Poland; but I did catch Mexico : Angola in the El Paso Cafe, a Mexican-Salvadorean Bar & Grill in Arlington last week (with thirst quenching frosty 23 oz drafts); which was quite a multi-cultural experience.

Google Desktop is offering a plug-in for those who already use the Google Desktop Sidebar, or want to start doing so. The Soccer Scores plug-in is available for download from Google Desktop.

From Google : “Keep track of your favorite World Cup teams right from your desktop. Simply select your teams from the options menu and you will see live scores for today’s games.”
