Windows Live Now Powering a9.com Search Results
I have not noticed this before today - if you do a search at a9.com (Amazon’s search engine), say for cheese, you’re going to see something new: a9’s search results are now powered by Windows Live, dropping Google as their search results provider. Not sure how long this has been going on but I just used a9 yesterday and it wasn’t there.

I’m seeing the same thing Wendy.
Also noticing that Amazon, Alexa, and IMDB are not serving Google AdWords ads right now.
I wonder if Berkowitz’s MSN team has scooped up the entire Amazon network from Google along with the search advertisng, in preparation for AdCenter expansion.

Do people even search using a9 or Alexa?
This partnership may be high profile because of the Amazon.com name, but the Live Windows results could be falling upon blind eyes.
Good PR buzz for MSN!

I’m seeing the a9 search box and lots of Amazon ads on IMDB, no Google ads on Amazon, Alexa, or IMDB as of Monday AM.

A9 is awesome. Try using it with wikipedia and general web search enabled. In many cases A9 will automatically pull up a detailed Wikipedia page. You wont even have to bother with the search results.
