It will be good for Wikipedia to have some competition . I wonder how knol pages will rank compared to wikipedia pages ?

Nice idea, but much to late. I don´t think that wiki editors will move to Google Knol. Another problem is, that the rankings are easy to fake by not very popular articles.

It’s a good concept. Let everyone write their own article and users can vote the best up to be the authoritative source on a specific topic. It’s a bit like PR.

I wonder whether Wikipedia will lose it’s preferential rankings once Google decides to let Knol of the leash. Pretty unsexy name btw – Knol…
