		<description>This is certainly a highly ambitious project, there&#039;s no doubting that.

But as a friend and fellow &#039;blogger recently observed: we&#039;re all social&#039;d up!

So if anyone is going to come relatively late to the table with a new / different offering, then Google ought to be one of the guys that can make it work.

It&#039;s also interesting to see Google using one of their Lab projects, that being the timeline narrative, which is a very intuitive way of navigating many different types of things.

Whether it&#039;s a part of Google&#039;s on-going &quot;do no evil&quot; mandate, I don&#039;t know for sure, but there&#039;s an opportunity for them to take on the likes of Digg and StumbleUpon with SocialStream.

Speaking of Digg, StumbleUpon et al, if SocialStream can pull in all of these other social networks, that&#039;s one less reason to say no.

In any event, I&#039;ll be keeping an eye on SocialStream in coming months...</description>
