Webmaster World Back Up and Running

Webmaster World Back Up and Running

After being down and out for about a week after a data center outage and then being moved to another web host at Rackspace, Webmaster World is up and running again. I hope that Brett & company followed Matt Cutt’s steps on a Google friendly host transfer.

Last week Brett posted on a temporary Webmaster World page : “A large data center outage in Chicago has left several thousand servers offline. To compound matters even worse, the data center was home to DNS servers by WestHost.”

Webmaster World was also moved to SearchEngineWorld.com for a couple of days before they got the whole situation taken care of. Ironically, the outage took place the same day of ThreadWatch crashing AND as the Google “Jagger” Update.

Glad to see that both Webmaster World and Threadwatch are both alive and kicking.
