Yahoo has just updated its browser toolbar bringing in some new features to make the browser more useful. Along with the upgrade is the immediate availability of the Yahoo toolbar for Firefox. Two features of the new Yahoo Toolbar worth mentioning are:
- preview information from sites you are about to visit through a drop down box containing the information
- search faster with suggestion features based on your previous searches as well as a facility to search other sites right within the toolbar’s search box.
In addition, the Yahoo toolbar is also fully customizable and can be loaded with web apps available online. And for those who have installed the previous version of the Yahoo toolbar, you might remember that the toolbar was previously available only in IE6-up. It is only now that Yahoo is launching a specific toolbar made specifically for Firefox.
