		<description>Charging for API access could eliminate many of the best third party functions - many of which exist specifically because of deficiencies that Twitter could easily fix - like adding a search box. That should have been done long ago. 

I posted the obvious way that Twitter and any other Social Networking site should be providing a service for which advertisers would flock to pay them. That post is linked from this comment. I&#039;d love to hear input from all interested parties.</description>

If they charge for API access, I see them making some $ right now, but as for other rev streams, not sure...</description>
