As you may already know or heard, the interest in mobile is one of the hottest topics for online marketers. Technology from the iPhone, Blackberry and other phones are making it a lot easier for users to browse the web through their phones. According to Opera, State of the Mobile Web, mobile use increased by 16% in June over past months and that number will continue to increase.
This list was complied from June-July of 2008 and safe to say is still pretty much holding ground:
- google.com
- myspace.com
- facebook.com
- wikipedia.org
- yahoo.com
- nytimes.com
- gamejump.com
- youtube.com (up from 9)
- accuweather.com (down from 8)
- my.opera.com
It will be interesting to note how these sites change in rank in the mobile space with hopefully new website destinations will be made just for mobile users and see if the .mobi domains will come into play.

I think Yellowpages.com will be up here quite soon. Just my 2 cents.
I think before yellowpages, maybe YellowBook which is advertising on TV and is very mobile-compatible.
Check this out for the iphone: http://www.yellowbook.com/iphone/
@ Pablo and that is why yellow pages has an issue. That ads that you have been watching are definitely yellow pages, but yellow book is looking to capitalize with ads here and there… great observation though Pablo
