I've been using Tweetdeck for a while and like it a lot. It allows me to separate what I would like to see and what I don't. The layout's great.

CoTweet leaves HootSuite in the dust. No annoying iframes, able to see who is online monitoring the accounts, can assign Tweets to other users to Reply To or DM, archive messages, inregrates lists, integrates Bitly, etc.

For the Blackberry, I love UberTwitter for managing multiple Twitter accounts.

I use www.TweetToolbox.com. It does everything that all the tools listed here do, especially Hootsuite and Social Oomph plus whole lot more.

It's still free for now, but I hear they are going to start charging $9.95/month.

I Love all the 3..but I'm very much used to HootSuite. It got amazing features updated very recently with which we can have additional networks like FaceBook. LinkedIn & Ping.FM included in it.. So I personally recommend HOOTSUITE!!

Interesting list Ann. I have just signed up for a Hootsuite account. Too early to say what I think of it yet: sort of stuck on my Twhirl app for Twitter, but being able to coordinate with other social media sites is a definite plus.

Thanks you very much, Ann, for this deep look at all those different options. I just ran into exactly this problem of effectively managing multiple twitter accounts effectively and really didn't find the time for that research - now I know I'll just register for Tweet3 and will probably be happy with it..
Well - thanks again! Gretz, t..

I can tell you that the best app (online) I have found and use every day is Social Oomph (https://www.socialoomph.com/) this allows you to update different accounts, set those tweets for a later release etc....

Hootsuite is the best,, I been using them over a year, and keep getting better.

I use Digsby but turned off twitter notices just annoying and took up to much resources.

Seems you're missing a few good ones:

TweetDeck - integrates Facebook and has an iPhone application
Brizzly - integrates Facebook as well and is web-based
Sendible - still in beta, but integrates almost everything

There's loads of others, but I think these deserve a mention.
