It may sound that way, but it the ultimate in customer choice. The customer that opts in to get text offers from a business really love, love, loves the business. The business can't reach out and opt you in. Power to the consumer. If you want a quick overview, hop over to our site -- Frextr.com. Take a look at the usage section. We keep it up-to-date with what Frextr advertisers are doing with text messages offers.

I've owned my own business in Denver, CO for over 12 years and after reading many articles like this and reviewing as many text message advertising companies as I could, I chose Clientxt.com and it's really proven to be a phenomenal company and way to advertise.

Second, it is very easy to opt-out of the text campaigns. You simply send a text and you're out for good.

As soon as I started working with this tech I realized that the next big advertising medium is the mobile phone. Text messages, smart phone ad space, and Blue Tooth capability make the cell phone an obvious next step in marketing.

If you're thinking about going mobile, do it! There isn't a reason not to. It's affordable, effective, and INSTANT! I can send out time sensitive offers to my subscribers and fill up my shop in under an hour. Enough said.

As far as not knowing how to make the transition to mobile, Clientxt took care of that for me. An account rep helped me with everything from creating my first campaign to taking my print ads to a new level of interactivity. Most people are hesitant or cautious when moving into unknown territory, I was, and that's one of the reasons I chose Clientxt; they offer such extensive support.

I've also been looking into upcoming technologies and I've found some really cool stuff, like blue tooth ads and, of course, we all know about iPhone app ad space. I think that once more people are on the SMS advertising bandwagon, Clientxt, and other companies like it, will move toward making blue tooth "Proximity Marketing" and smart phone ad space, complementary products. I'm so excited to see where the tech goes over the next few years!

Much success for you,
Alec

LEAVE US ALONE!

marketers stop at nothing to command every surface, every interface, every view.

don't you get how annoying that is, and counter-productive? and you wonder why people are skeptical of your intentions...these ads are completely offensive. everyone knows opting-out NEVER works. if you want to opt-out you have to visit the site that sent the text message and hope you are not tracked and that you'll be able to remove yourself without getting added to another mailing list bought by another relentless, obnoxious marketer.

I love this article as it shows the validity of text message marketing. I work for a mobile marketing company called txtWire Communications and the market is definitely ripe. (We are also more cost effective than 4Info.)

It seems that everyone "knows they need a mobile strategy" but no one realy knows what do past that. The concept of showing up on the device that never leaves the pocket of your consumer is an easy one to accept but how does it fit into what your brand is already doing?

It is more about finding ways to utilize mobile to not only have a grass root effect but make the rest of your campaign more meaningful.
