Suicide Girls on the Video iPod
It is only a matter of time before either Playboy or Hustler released their Video iPod offerings to off-set the balance of the family friendly downloads marketed by Apple, including Disney shows and episodes of TV’s Lost. Flynt and Hefner, however, were beaten to the punch by the Suicide Girls – a punk, pin-up band/community out of NYC.
Nick at Threadwatch points to a Gizmodo review (SG’s have always been darlings of Gawker Media, I wonder if there is some kind of connection) of the soft-core Suicide Girls videos available for download and viewing on Apple’s Video iPod. The Suicide Girls iPod Videos are not porn, they’re music videos set to their songs, and marketed to an adult audience (you must be over 18 years old to download). I really like this tagline “Free 3 minute sexy videos of the lovely SuicideGirls set to music and showing off their pin-up appeal. Show your friends, your mom, the girl next to you on the bus…”
Playboy had previously made iPod news of their “iBod” podcast series of audio Playboy oriented material and images for the photo iPod. Expect Video iPods to be broadcasting adult material all over the world in a couple of months and do not be surprised if mulitple porn versions of Apple iTunes launch with pay per video download services.
