This is the best article on editorial link-building I've ever read. I'm no designer, but I've been looking for tools to create infographics for the past few weeks. I Googled "editorial links" and this post was the second result.

The article you linked to about getting links from Harvard is G.O.L.D. You should have gotten tons of tweets and Sphinns.

There are also endless opportunities using mashup tools such as Yahoo Pipes, Teqlo, etc. The results of the mashups can often be embedded elsewhere in some fashion or other. Lots and lots of stuff

Hi Mukesh. I like to use wink and a few other freebies for screen capture, and Camstudio (http://www.camstudio.org/) for screencasting. But because I actually produce several how-to screencast videos weekly at tubetorial.com, I splurged yesterday and bought Camtasia Studio.

As for uploading to YouTube, if I do it at all, I just use their direct upload (you have to register a free YouTube account). I prefer to use SplashCast because I can encapsulate multiple videos, images and documents into a single media player. They also keep live links from each “slide frame” to the original source.

But I haven’t tried for too many other services. Camtasia has a hostings solution called Screencast.com, but it’s not free. However, I think you can upload to it from within Camtasia.

I think some good flash videos would help build traffic too. I use this tool debugmode.com/wink and it is pretty good.

I was wondering if there was a program tat allows you to record PC screens and then upload it to youtube or other video services with a live link on the video itself?
