Spiceworks Adds More Social Features to Its Social Networking Service

The social networking platform dedicated to business professionals in the IT community is called Spiceworks, and appropriately so. For an industry that serves IT professionals globally, Spiceworks does in fact offer its users premium services that help them to connect effectively and tap into technological resources and information from their peers and colleagues. The business social networking platform recently released another component of their application services called Vendor Pages. This application is essentially an equivalence of a LinkedIn company or a Facebook fan page for its users. The aim of the free Vendor Pages application is to create a page or profile that allows the millions of IT users on the network to connect and interact in a more focused and direct method.

With Vendor Pages application, companies can create pages that feature information and content about their products or services. The services also include optional enhancements and customizable features with the purchase of a Premium Page where companies can design their own pitch page, or as a launch page to their main site. Many companies use these pages as branding opportunities in addition to socially networking, which is why the pages have become beneficial for IT professionals in locating relevant pages and resources for their own interests.

  • Management Interface Software: IT professionals monitor and manage cloud services for people within their organization.
  • Help Desk: Offers client portals customizable for multiple client requests that can be managed singly from one console.
