I'm so glad we're talking about books here. I have a list of books to buy saved in Del.icio.us and for a while I thought I was crazy trying to buy info when you can get it free on the web. But there is a lasting quality to books and you don't get with content on the web.

Books on my list are:

Web Design for ROI by L. Loveday & S. Niehaus
Beyond Bullet Points by Cliff Atkinson
Meatball Sundae by Seth Godin

Anyone read these and have feedback?

Matt,

I was thinking about writing about that one and a few other books as well, but then was the post already too long and included too many options to choose from for the reader as well.

Also Web Analytics: An Hour a Day is good. It's from the same book series, but different author than then SEO one.

Other books I can recommend are:

Google Analytics 2.0 by Jerri L Ledford and Mary E. Tyler, Hands-On Guide to: Video Blogging & Podcasting by Fionel Felix and Damien Stolarz, Spam Wars by Danny Goodman, The Tipping Point by Malcolm Gladwell, The No Asshole Rule by Robert I. Sutton, Pretty much any Seth Godin book and I could add more, if I would go back in time a few more years :)

Reading these books on the plane, in the airport or at a Starbucks in a business district can also bring you in some decent SEO leads... from people see that you're involved in this industry and starting up basic conversation around the books.

Carsten,
Actually, the post was great and just in time - I'm taking a few days to get away next week and was looking for some decent reading material.
Thanks for the recommendations.

Oops.. well, I don't think that Andy would be too unhappy about it :). I fixed it in the post. Thanks for pointing this little typo out. I hope that you liked the post anyway, despite of this little error.
