In case that you are not a frequent SEOMoz.org Blog reader (something I suggest to remedy :)); they are currently conducting a very detailed SEO industry survey.

The survey asks a wide range of questions about yourself, your employments, type of business, use of tools and services as well as what your believes are regarding things that may will have impact on the search engine marketing industry in the coming 12 to 24 months.
The survey takes 10-15 minutes to complete and is aimed at anybody who is or was involved with organic SEO, paid search, web development or Internet marketing in general . To further encourage people to take the survey and provide the requested information does SEOMoz offer participants to enter a drawing for the chance to win a free iPhone. This is optional of course. If you would prefer to provide your information entirely anonymously without providing anything that would allow SEOMoz to identify yourself or your company, you are of course free to do so and simply don’t provide your email address to enter the drawing.
The results will be published soon on the SEOMoz.org website. This is the main reason why I personally recommend to take the survey. The results will not be locked away or made only accessible to a paying audience, no, it will be free to access to everybody.
The more people take the survey, the more acurate the picture it will draw about the state and believes of this industry. I am curious to see the final results and the number of people who participated.

I gave this a go as soon as I got the email announcing it – unfortunately so did hordes of others causing the survey to fail. Apparently they have now sorted things out so I’m just on my way for another go…
