This will build relationships stronger in a business sense. This sounds like a creeps favorite tool in a social atmosphere. I am glad I can use it to follow my Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.

snitch.name uses yoname as a search provider, so there is no need to visit yoname at all :)

Email search is not yet available but it's on my list of upcoming features.

Ann,

I like the first one a little better. The second one is kind of funny (What's Yo Name) he he, but the overall concept here is great. When I get the same friend on StumbleUpon, Twitter, freindfeed, Facebook etc it definitely makes the relationship much stronger.

You can search for anything in the 2.0 world. I am a big fan of yoname... I use it almost everyday. I've noticed a bunch of paid ones popping up. I don't get it, why pay when there a bunch of free ones?

Another way to protect your online identity - as Ann suggests in the first sentence of her post - or to find out if someone is registered on a particular social network is to check out www.usernamecheck.com. Granted, not everyone uses one specific name across all networks, but some - like me - tend to.

It's particularly useful for finding out if you've neglected to register at any social networks you may find useful today or at some point in the future.

Whoa, sharing social networking connections will not grow any relationships, unless both people go out of their way to communicate.

Just because we message on Twitter and are mutual friends on Facebook does not mean we know each other.

Rather, being listed on multiple networks helps OTHER PEOPLE find you either directly or via their friends or keywords. But being on a network does not necessarily translate into a "stronger connection" as your second bullet indicates.

That said, I tried those services--and found snitch.name to be accurate, while yoName had many inaccuracies.
