Chitika Insights reports that Google remains a clear front runner in the search engine market as of May 31st, despite a loss in share of just over 3%. All other search engines posted slight gains in share over the month of May, with Yahoo rising the most (1.9%) to capture an overall 12.5% share of the market. Ask and AOL report stable levels of use, although their impact on the search market is minimal. Look for Yahoo to solidify its position as the #2 search engine over the remainder of 2012.
