Did you know that if you search on Google by typing a residential phone number into the Google Search box that Google will deliver a reverse lookup that lists the name, address and even a link to a Google Map of the address associated with that number?
Luckily, given the privacy concerns of the service, Google is letting users remove their phone numbers from the Google Search at Google Phonebook Name Removal.
Removing your business phone number is however, a bit trickier;
To remove your business listing information from the Google phonebook, please send a signed request on your company letterhead to the address below. Include a phone number at which you can be reached so that we may verify your phonebook removal request. Please note that this removal is permanent and that it’s not possible to add your phone number again in the future.

My name is no longer on the google look-up site, but my phone number can still be reversed to get my name and address. How does one remove his or her address from the reverse phone number look-up process? I don’t care if they know my name, but why do they need to know my address?
