Strange for them to redirect in that way. They don’t give much indication that the old Netscape moved.

Netscape was up there as #2 next to GOogle for traffic sources for one of my sites… they CAN provide some decent traffic if you can get “in” good.

They ARE currently being redirected from the old Netscape, (diy.netscape.com redirects to diy.propeller.com) so maybe there will be some out of the gate value for Propeller.com

I guess there’s not much chance they will permanently redirect all those Netscape.com urls :)

Yeah, it was a bit of a surprise this morning – noticed that a bunch of our traffic started coming from propeller.com along with the hits from netscape.com – and by mid morning netscape.com traffic was gone.

Looking forward to see how this works out over the coming weeks…
