MySpace is now rotating presidential candidate profiles in their “Cool New People” section located in different places throughout the site including the homepage.
They seem to be featuring candidate profiles that are also featured in their new political section, Impact. Kudos to MySpace for not only giving exposure to high profile candidates like Barack Obama and John McCain but also long-shot candidates users may not be familiar with such as Duncan Hunter and Chris Dodd.
Heck with social networks making it easy to reach a wide audience quickly you never know who could drop in at the last moment and make an Impact.
The full list of the candidates featured as “Cool New People” are below the cut.
Rudy Giuliani (private for some reason)
John Boyle runs SocialNext, a blog tracking the next generation of marketing via viral video and social networks like MySpace. He urges you to vote Sideshow Bob for Mayor.
