You guys have some cool stuff going on over there, hats off. I wouldn’t rush to characterize the Pixelsilk feature set as “less advanced” than “xyz”… There are numerous features and deployment techniques not mentioned in the nice article by Ann. The Pixelsilk rendering engine alone is an impressive piece of work that we have not seen anywhere.
( but, then again I am biased ;-)

An alternative to Pixelsilk is seotoaster, except the feature set is more advanced, including automated 301, deep-linking, and link sculpting using Java Script and even point and click siloing.

It is also free and open source, extremely easy to use, easy to build websites using standard HTMl, CSS, easy to SEO with key-phrase suggestion, a number of built-in default behavior for image and media tagging, on-site SEO factors alignment, and it connects to SEO Samba so that one can scale and remote control any number of websites and market them through an unified interface.

My initial thoughts after reading the review were: Wow, it’s brilliant.I then proceeded to PixelSilk’s website there was/is no mention of price, and one needs to call them to arrange a Demo. These two factors usually indicate a very high price. I am hoping that I this CMS is sensibly price.

PS: I tried many CMS sytems that need a programming expert to configure/integrate and I was hoping to try Pixelsilk if they had a time/feature limited downloadable demo on their website.

Wow, Pixelsilk seems to be a life saver. We are looking for a good CMS for our new project and have already gone through and tested over 10 different CMS so far. Now to try out Pixelsilk. From the detailed information you have shared, Pixelsilk seems to be a great content management system.
I’m most concerned about the look and feel of a CMS and SEO factors. Look and feel mainly revolves around good Web 2.0 templates and themes. Let’s see what they have in store. Thankyou for sharing useful information.
