Online Marketing Summit in San Diego

My search buddy Jennifer Laycock just posted some information over at Search Engine Guide about an interesting conference kicking up its first show in San Diego, the Online Marketing Summit.

No this is not Another Search Conference, instead it’s a total online marketing oriented conference which should have more information and sessions dealing with online media buying, email marketing, social optimization, and affiliate marketing.

The first ever Online Marketing Summit 2007 (OMS) will be held next year from February 22 – 24 in San Diego, California. The conference will feature case studies, panel discussions, one on one marketing labs and hands-on sessions designed to help boost online marketing ROI. The Summit will not have vendor booths or sponsorships so that attendees can focus on learning through networking rather than via veiled sales pitches.

The cost, which includes all sessions, meals and special events is $895, though an early bird rate of $495 is being offered to those who register before December 15th. Registration is available online.

I like the looks of this show. It’s rare to find a solid conference that isn’t targeted to just one interactive discipline. Seems to be a good fit for corporate side interactive marketers responsible for a wide variety of tactics, and executive-level and account managers on the agency side. Good pricing too.
