NetTracker Introduces Lite Web Analytics Solution

Mark March 29th on your calendars as Web Analytics Day. To add to the news which has been surrounding the Google acquisition of Urchin and WebTrends fleeing NetIQ for the arms of Francisco Partners, NetTracker today announced the availability of NetTracker Lite (way to work the buzz NetTracker). This “freeware” version of NetTracker provides owners of small and low-traffic web sites (including blogs) with site traffic analysis software (possibly better than Extreme-DM) at no cost.

According to the press release, NetTracker Lite users can take advantage of many of the features found in commercial versions of the NetTracker line of Web analytics solutions, including advanced filtering and drill down capabilities, flexible reporting options including a calendar-based reporting interface, and the ability to share browser-based reports on the Web or export reports to software tools such as Excel and Word.

“We realize that there are many Web site administrators who do not have the resources to purchase a commercial Web analytics solution. NetTracker Lite provides these users with a powerful (and free) alternative to entry-level Web site traffic analysis software,” stated Jim Rose, CEO of Sane Solutions.
