in the long run netscape aka propeller is no where near Digg, Stumblupon, Reddit etc.. also as a browser Firefox has been ruling the browsing industry for last 1-2 year, I hardly see anyone using Netscape Browser sad for them but it is the right time to stop the development of netscape

It oould have a future as a picture of video site.

But the propeller idea was potentially good, but you have to ask yourself why are Digg, Reddit, Corank and now Mixx surviving and the Netscape model could NOT survive on Netscape.com?

Getting a homepage was even more biased towards top members than Digg is - and their filtering of duplicate submissions was just as aggressive as Digg or Reddit - but that should not have affected their traffic since more readers are passive.

I am really annoyed with them Propeller scum bags, they banned my account for using the site for commercial purposes, after being a loyal user for nearly a year. I never tried to hide the fact that I sometimes used the site for my own and my clients articles, I never had more then one account and I always submitted good stuff that got voted on. I will not be using the digg clone anymore.
