MSN Search Advertising in Google AdWords UK

Sure there has been a lot of talk in the news recently about MSN adCenter, Windows Live Local, Windows Live Search & Amazon.com and possibly Microsoft acquiring a stake in Yahoo.

Martin Brown sent me over this screen shot today which is a reminder that although Microsoft is making some very big waves in Search this week, it’s still Google’s ocean to swim in.

Try searching for local terms on Google UK and you’ll notice that MSN Search is buying Google AdWords to market their UK County Maps in MSN Local UK:

Wonder if we’ll see Google buying ads in MSN or Windows Live Search for local terms one day to market Google Maps?
