Because of Microsoft’s aggressive attitude in not allowing any other browsers to use their online applications, or least use them well, I am generally not a fan of their applications, but in this case another competitor is probably a good thing.

Extra competition in any space pushes up quality while driving prices down. If the outcome of this is that Google’s program gets better or vice versa that will be a great benefit to all of us.

I tell you what, it wouldn’t want to work a whole lot better than Microsoft Adcenter…it’s so slow it’s a joke.

Yes, this is an early (alpha) version of our forthcoming web analytics service. It's a closed alpha, so don't expect to be able to get access for the time being. There is a little bit more information about the project here.
