I've really gotta get this outof my system.. and I know it has been mentioned multiple times but I'm gonna say it anyway:
What megavideo is doing is basically theft, and they want us to pay just to watch their illegal/stolen content I'm surprised that they didn't get sued for it yet (correct me if I'm wrong) I'm just waiting for the day that they disappear due to people not wanting to pay just to watch a damn video (which they could possibly watch somewhere else anyway) anymore and due to the illegal content that they have on there.
One thing that absolutely annoys me is when I got to watch-movies-links.net, look up a movie and see like 5 links leading to megavideos, I could just rant about this for hours on end, but enough is enough, I'm just gonna leave it at this.

Honestly, because of the view time limit and having to either pay or work around it, Megavideo is most likely going to dissapear as more people get sick of having to pay to watch things megavideo has on their site illegally.

2.after watching 72minutes of video you have to wait for 54mins to watch anything else or pay to be a member of their site.

Have to wait 45mins after 72mins? Are you ****ing serious?

Come on Megavideo, if you want to be serious about your position in the market,
do the following,
1. unlimited playback time,

2. stop whoring yourself out on ads and stuff, be simplistic, not shoving down your throat-in your face shit.

3. Upload all the abc, nbc, fox programs... stuff that youtube doesn't do and yes, classic movies.

4. Offline-viewing, download in the background for later viewing, come'on, you dont even have to be a rocket scientist to work that out. Simple tactics man.

Megavideo is probably one of the WORST video sites on the internet. Have to wait 45mins after 72mins? Are you ****ing serious? There's already 50 billion ads that you make money off, and you want me to wait 45min more just to watch your horrible, horrible quality video? What other site does that?

1. everytime you wish to watch a video on Mega Video you have to click on their ad.
2.after watching 72minutes of video you have to wait for 54mins to watch anything else or pay to be a member of there site

Ryan,

Usually when a new website is created it has a horrible alexa rank. Can you link your list here of the worst websites and who accredited that?

I was simply going off of alexas globally top rated sites. I see more pirated videos on sites like http://www.tudou.com/ which is a popular video sharing site in china. Because they are not governed by our privacy and distrubtion laws they can rebroadcast videos without worry about retribution by anyone in the united states. I am not seeing the same thing on megavideo.com that I am on http://www.tudou.com/.

You could be right I just have not seen what you are talking about. Can you post some examples?

Thanks,

Joe Whyte

I agree, megavideo isnt well known however it is very heavily trafficked and does have a very large audience. Can you post the links you found regarding mega video taking popular videos on youtube and then someone uploading them to megavideo and taking credit? I don't agree with anyone ever doing that and it would be great to post that if you have it.

Thanks,

well first of all youtube has more of known face to alot of people in america. but one thing is fore sur is that megavideo might just never gain any international fame. like yesterday i was talking to a friend and mentioned megavideo.com and he though it was a porno video site, just shows on how mistaken people are about the site. but one thing that just sounds wrong about megavideo.com is that there are popular videos on youtube that are being downloaded and uploaded onto megavideo, and the owner of the video says that they diden't upload anything onto megavideo. and on megavideo someone else is taking all the credit for that video which isen't theres. I could see it in the future, megavideo gets shut down for all that stolen copyrighted material.
