LookSmart has signed a strategic agreement with blinkx.com to power video search results on LookSmart’s FindArticles.com (which averages roughly 17 million unique visitors a month and houses 11 million resource articles from 3,000 sources).
FindArticles’ blinkx partnered video content will include news clips, short documentaries, TV content, movies and other appropriate video served to the consumer based on their search terms.
The additional video content is designed to increase visitor frequency and stickiness, along with new opportunities for LookSmart and blinkx revenue via video advertising.
