Hmm — this is very interesting. I think in-links might be hurting us a bit — as we tried adding a link on who.is. We have about 500,000 in-links from the site — and now we have less than half as many pages indexed and our traffic is dropping. Could be unrelated, but since we are adding content… hard to say what else it could be… but then, it’s all rather a mystery…

Wow, some good ideas here for things to keep track of … just like we all need to take some more notes right? I, like everyone else it seems, keeps track of this type of thing in a spreadsheet. Not the greatest way to do things, but of course clicking the link to go visit the link to verify it is possible. Hmmm … gotta think about this some.
