Is Social Media Bad For Your Phone

No doubt many of you reading this use social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest and others on a daily, if not hourly basis. However, have you ever stopped for a minute to think about the negative impacts that this kind of social media usage has on both our phones and mobile devices, not to mention our lives?

Don’t get me wrong, I love the ability to access my social networks on the go via my Android phone. I have apps for Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Gmail, Craigslist, and eBay; all of which push notifications to me. This does not include apps I use periodically such as MoviePhone, Redbox, Netflix, DIRECTV, my local news station, and the list goes on. No wonder I have to charge my phone twice a day!
