Interview With Kim Farmer of Microsoft: New Functionality Coming To Bing Ads

In an interview conducted at SES 2013 in San Francisco, Kim Farmer of Microsoft leads a discussion about Bing ads.

As the service and sales manager, Kim and her team of search specialists are focused on revenue driving initiatives for Bing. Kim is heavily involved in developing and delivering hyper-targeted insight-driven campaigns to search advertisers to maximize their advertising dollars with Bing Ads.

I began the interview by asking Kim what’s new in the world of Bing ads and what new things they are currently working on. Hear her response in the video below:

Here are some key takeaways from the video:

  • They are working on a solution for Bing advertisers that’s similar to My Client Center for AdWords. Kim did not give any specifics other than saying they are “working on it” and it’s on their “radar”.
  • While working on their My Client Center solution, Bing is listening to suggestions from advertisers on their User Voice forum. Go there any let them know what features and functionality you want to see.
  • As for upcoming features, Kim says to look out for Excel integration and new features in Bing Ads Intelligence that will provide advertisers with more data to make better decisions.

If you have any questions after watching the video, for either myself or Kim, ask them in the comments section and we will do our best to respond to everyone! Please visit SEJ’s YouTube page for more video interviews from #SESSF 2013.
