How to Be a Marketing Automation Master [INFOGRAPHIC]

HubSpot posted an infographic called “How to Be a Marketing Automation Master“. HubSpot states, “Marketing automation is the use of technology and software to help move prospects and leads through your sales funnel. As part of a whole inbound marketing philosophy, you can use marketing automation to help take the leads you’re generating from blogging, social media, and other sources, and make them more sales-ready.” Are you using marketing automation? How is it working for you?

This infographic breaks down the history, problems and future of marketing automation. The parts I like the most are the “Putting the Human Back in Marketing Automation” (Please God) and “Good Ways to Use Marketing Automation”.

  1. Beautiful infographic. Someone did a nice job on it. However, Hubspot is trying to get into this industry and this infograph shows me they are missing the point or they cannot compete with the enterprise level and are trying to position it a lot less than what it is.

  2. infographic’s are pretty, but a bullet list is easier for me to understand and follow. Would also stand to reason that a bullet list is easier to assemble, and an infographic seems to me to be a time waster for the person doing it. I guess it does create a new job? maybe.
