I’m using http://rosinstrument.com/cgi-proxy.htm as a public Web proxies daily checked list at work. A list of HTTP proxies is also available there.

@Gerald, I referred to friends with your question and that’s what they recommend:

“Tor (“The Onion Router”) is a tool to protect anonymity by routing traffic (encrypted) through other nodes. As long as the site being reached is not blocked by the final node, there should be no problems.”

Hi Ann interesting post. I have a question about the proxy server. I have had problems using proxy servers with sites that require authentication as well as sites that require flash. Is there a way around this problem? Also is hopster basically a proxy?
