Google is against the buying and selling the links then why not these sites penalized yet by Google. Now a day its very easy to get better rank by purchasing theme based links.

Yes, purchasing links in the right places, such as vertical sites and blogs which are relevant to your site’s content, will still assist you with your search rankings; especially reviews via SponsoredReviews.com.

I would not recommend PayPerPost for enhanced rankings.

Some of the directories listed here may have lots some of their link juice, but Best of the Web and Yahoo are still going strong; very strong.

In light of Google’s recent rampage against paid links that pass pagerank and the resulting bitchslap that a lot of people have taken from them over it, will link buying still be effective or will it just cost more to get effective links?

EDIT: With some exceptions obviously, like Yahoo! Directory, where you pay for the review, not the link…:D
