Once again, I’m starting a little late, but this one is easier than last weeks. It only took a couple hours to figure it out.

At first site, I dismissed the “L” from missing, like a lot of people, I’m guessing. But the fact that the filename is: /goog_e.gif means there is a connection.

…and the date has more significance than the 1985 sighting.

Well… Letter “L” is not visible like other letters though! So it is missing ;)

This is the 3rd article I’ve seen today that mentions the “L” is missing. People need to look before they leap, or more importantly: make sure you’re “right” before you write.

Thats true, the tractor does appear to be making an “L” shape, but the acutal name of the image is “http://www.google.com/logos/goog_e.gif” which is why most people say the “L” is supposed to be missing.

the L isn’t missing. there’s a tractor with a clear line ploughed between the ‘g’ and the ‘e’.
