Is Google Expanding into China? SINA, one of China’s largest portals and Google are testing the waters.
“Google so far does not have any physical presence in China, but it is a well known name among China’s over 50 mln netizens, especially among young people. Some Chinese netizens do not know how to pronounce the word “Google”, but still put Google as their most favorable search engine. When Google was blocked in China sometime last year, millions of messages were posted on the Chinese websites condemning the “mysterious” filter. “
