Good article – I am pretty sure that bookmarking will become more important over time, Google sorts sites by the strength of their inward links, it makes sense to also reflect the breath and depth of bookmarking.

In the same way IP address help to filter out backlink schemes Google and other SE’s can use the footprint of bookmarks to filter out bookmarking schemes.
