Google must have a good competitor. Long time back my fav SE is Yahoo but they didn't evolve with time and seemd they didn't invest much in R&D as Google did.

Google did the home work properly and enjoying the time, possibly next 5 years Google will be the king, unless someone come out with dazzling ideas in SE technology. (NOT LIKE CUIL)

I don't think Microsoft really has 10% of the search market. It's an inflated number from their referrer spam and possibly from buying adsense that leads to the Live.com SERPs.

This is very good, I don't think it is a great thing to let Google dominate the search engine market, that's very dangerous for webmasters. If Google dominates the market, when they feel uncomfortable with your site, they ban it, then you lose your shirt.

So the more players in the search market, the better. Hope AOL, Microsoft and Yahoo! grow stronger just like Google.

What's more, I'm expecting more powerful search engines to compete with Google monster.
