Google Replaces Armstrong with Dennis Woodside, Vice President for Americas Operations

Last week Google lost one of its most loyal executives, Tim Armstrong, to AOL as Armstrong left his position to become AOL’s new CEO. AOL is of course, a Google partner.

Google yesterday named Dennis Woodside, a 5 year Google vet, to replace Armstrong as their new Vice President for Americas Operations.

More from CNN Money :

Omid Kordestani, Google’s Senior Vice President, Global Sales & Business Development, said he has been impressed by Woodside’s combination of entrepreneurialism and operational excellence.

“In the five and a half years that Dennis has been at Google (that’s over half our company’s lifetime) he’s brought incredible integrity and entrepreneurialism to everything he’s done,” he said.
