Google Recruitment Video on YouTube
Digging into YouTube’s selection of Google oriented videos unearthed this recruitment video by Google.
Sure, the video is totally 60 Minutes-esque Google PR with Google lava lamps, employees having meetings while sitting on brightly colored balance balls (which has to be excellent for developing core muscles), and the Google 15, which is the legendary 15 pounds gained by employees after getting hooked on the delicious Google food.
Googleplex health gyms (to counter the Google 15), volleyball, childcare, flexible hours and leave time for expecting and new mothers, 20% employee time projects and the Google interview process.
There’s also a special guest spot in the video by Sergey Brin, who happens to be wearing “high heels for men” during the promo - which makes the video worth checking out even more.

He doesn’t wear the Z-Coils anymore; instead, he wears these bright white sneakers that have a thick, 2″ sole on them. I’m not sure how tall he actually is, but it’s apparent how tall he *wants* to be.

Sergey says in the video that the Z-Coils are good for the calf muscles.
The guy looks like he’s in pretty good shape, which is likely the result of the hearty meals, volleyball, platform soles, and sitting on balance balls.

Z-CoiL’s are not “high heels for men”…rather, they are pain relief footwear for backs, feet, knees and legs. It is those type of comments that give a false sense of feminism to such an amazing product for BOTH sexes.
