Better yet, why don't we fix up that little device to scan their homes also? I mean I've seen some innocent people on some nightmarish videos pull guns to protect themselves from improper search & seizure, we should be able to find a way to protect them from themselves as well. Geez, it's people like you, with your idiotic ideas/ideals, that chip away at everyone else's rights. You're either a cop, related to one, or lost someone close to you in that area. Sorry for your loss if that's the case, but the rest of us are hanging on to our rights, and privacy by a thread.

Is there anyway you can develop the technology to identify guns in a vehicle before a law enforcement officer approaches the car? I've seen some videos of some nightmarish attacks on Dish Network channels. Maybe connecting the recognition technology with hand held devices or with satellites using some kind of sonar/radar /non-thermal imaging reception sent to a dispatch point, GPS sight, blackberry or computer in the sqaud car. Create the image reflection to find smaller objects. This might work to reduce the cars metal response to radar. The technology to hear voices is possible; maybe something could be created to see images before the officer approaches the vehicle. Not necessarily usable in court, but just for safety's sake. If we can scan people at airports, why not in their cars.
